Umatju. You will sit together with the land, paint and connect with sacred places

This is a fundraiser…helping to build infrastructure at Umatju to enable Aunty Rosemary to create a
place for women, children to come and learn.
We will be bush camping on Country at Umatju (south of Uluru) for 3 nights
We leave for Umatju on the 27th returning on the 30th
You will need to bring your own tent/swag and sleeping gear
We will meet at the Yulara campground on August 24
We will share costs of food (vegetarian), water and transport (hire cars for a minimum of 5 days)
We will organise food and vehicles on the 25th before leaving on the morning of the 26th
We will share tasks (cooking, collecting wood etc)
There are no toilets at Umatju
You will need to organise your airfare and accommodation at Yulara (camping or cabin)
Cabins sleep up to 6 people.
Depending on how things unfold we may have time to visit some of the local sits such as Kata Tjuta, Uluru
Cultural Centre or Uluru. We may go to the 7 sister cave near Amata after Umatja.
Cost is $650. $200 deposit due by March 30. Final payment of $450 due by July 30
You will be invited to bring op shopping contributions of clothing and paints to give to community.
